What is chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a profession focused on health. There are many different responsibilities that are directly related to health. To be Healthy (or to have our bodies function/operate to their highest potential, instead of merely absence of disease) one must eat well, breathe, sleep, exercise, have a positive mental attitude, and be clear of nerve interference between the brain and the body. This nerve interference is the single most overlooked essential key to our overall health. The Chiropractor is specially trained to find this nerve interference (caused by a vertebrae/bone in our spine putting pressure on nerve[s]) and remove the interference by restoring these spinal bones to their proper position.
These bone misalignments in our spine (also known as Subluxations [if we can learn Cholesterol, we can learn Subluxation]) interfere with the communication between the brain and the body, which keeps the whole body from functioning to it’s highest potential. If these bone misalignments (Subluxations) are not removed, our lives and our children’s lives will never reach their highest potential.
What Causes Our Vertebrae to Misalign?
There are many different ways our vertebrae can misalign (subluxate). Most spinal subluxations occur at birth, when the baby’s neck is stretched much greater than its normal length. Other contributions to these subluxations are falls, twists, coughing, and any other imaginable stress to the body. The importance of having a child checked for subluxations after birth and throughout life is immeasurable. Until these subluxations are removed, our children will never live life to their highest potential! Each child deserves the healthiest and happiest life we can give him/her and chiropractic is an essential part in the overall picture of Health.
